UCSB is ranked #2 going into the WCLA National Tournament on May 9-12 in Colorado Springs, CO. Lindsay Alex is also #2 in Assists in the Western Women's Lacrosse League and ranks #10 in Total Points per Game. Kali Mickelson

The senior is in her third year on the varsity playing the attack position, according to Foothill Coach Brian Cross.

Mickelson represented Orange County on the Women’s Development National Team in 2011.

She has been solid all season for the No. 1-ranked Knights.

“In this week’s game against Beckman, Kali had a team leading five goals in the Knights victory,” Cross said. “She currently leads in goals for Foothill but she also leads in her role as one of the team captains. She understands the flow and fundamentals of the game better than most. Her true talent is that she uses that understanding to lead and teach others. “
