Foothill High School Lacrosse

Coach Cross and his wife, Linda, are the reason we have girls lacrosse in Tustin.

Coach Cross was involved with soccer for many years, until his son Michael began playing lacrosse in 2000. After watching the game and falling in love with it, they wanted their daughter, Natalie, to have the chance to play lacrosse as well. He and Linda were in on the ground floor of lacrosse in Tustin. In 2002 there was a combo high school/middle school team in Tustin and only 3 other club teams in Orange County. The sport has grown quickly with over 25 Varsity programs and just as many club middle school teams. Under his watch, the Foothill High School Girls Lacrosse Program has become one of the most successful in the state! An award winning program that continues to grow in numbers, Foothill Girls Lacrosse is excited to be adding a frosh/soph team to it's repertoire for the first time. Coach Cross has put together a strong coaching staff with competitive playing experience and is looking forward to another winning season. He has been the high school girls representative, Girls Commissioner and Vice President for the OC Lacrosse Association and continues to maintain his rating as a Women's Lacrosse Umpire. We are so fortunate to have Coach Cross leading our teams and program.
