Well, it's hard to believe, but Fall Ball is well underway and plans for the regular season are made! With Fall comes fundraising and our biggest fundraiser is now OPEN! The 2011-2012 Players Guide information is attached. All participants in the Foothill Lacrosse Program are expected to solicit ads for the guide. Ads can be from businesses or family members. A personal ad for your player, wishing them good luck this season from a parent, family or grandparent is a great way to cheer them on all year long! It's a great keepsake as well. For businesses, the books are delivered to over 250 active Orange County Families. Several businesses display them all year round as well. It is definitley a high quality book, not something that gets tossed out. Please email this info to family and friends, make copies and deliver them to the folks you do business with....hairdresser, grocer, dentist/doctor, orthodontist, contractor, plumber, boutique, gym, photographer, etc....
There are a couple of new/changed items in our program:
The first is a perforated tear out page that will be in the book. Those buying ads can pay an additional $25 and be listed on the perforated page that can be torn out and kept by a phone for quick reference for years to come! In addition to that, they will also receive an ad on our lacrosse website (newly updated!) that will directly link our visitors to their website....all year long! Both of these together are only $25.
Secondly, the corporate ad package has changed slightly, a banner at the games is no longer included. They will, however receive the ad and weblink with the package.
And last but definitely NOT LEAST....this year we have an incentive program for ads brought in. This is for all NEW ads brought in. I have attached the prize sheet, check it out. You could be sporting an IPAD at the end of December! The winners will be chosen by the highest amount of money brought in! We will also have an ongoing raffle for fun stuff; pizza, gift cards, slurpees and more!
All "trade ads" must come to me first. I will present them to the head varsity coaches/boards for approval. Please don't make any promises out there without prior approval!
Ads previously sold by current families in the program are "family owned". Please look over the list and DO NOT hit those folks up again. We don't want to over tax any businesses. If you have a special circumstance, please email me and we can discuss for exceptions. The family owned ads are attached as well.
